Reviewers Love Flood of Memories

D. Donovan, Sr. Reviewer, Midwest Book Review

Libraries and readers seeking a cozy mystery atmosphere replete with intrigue, powered by amateur female sleuths who employ every deductive reasoning device available to arrive at the truth, will find Flood of Memories a fine expansion of the characters in the prior Silent Winter Solstice, who continue to evolve their skills and solidify their community connections here.

Readers thus receive a story nicely steeped in a sense of place, times, and purpose. All these elements add to the growing tension and intrigue that lead Beth, Evie, and their readers into a mystery replete with dangerous confrontations and eye-opening developments.

Three five star review on Library Thing

  • This was quite an enjoyable read.
  • I enjoyed reading a mystery that was set in an era before cell phones, the internet, and social media were available. These girls relied on real footwork, their smarts, and “old-fashioned” research to solve the crime. This well-written novel is much recommended, and I look forward to Beth’s and Evie’s next adventure.
  • There were a lot of twists and turns in this book and though I thought I had the murder figured out several times, I kept changing my mind. This book kept my attention throughout.

Amazon Review

5.0 out of 5 stars Continuation of the Series

Bonnie Oldre is a wonderful story teller. The story of long term friendship, sharded memories, and a great mystery. Already looking forward to the next offering.
